New functionality is always in the pipeline. There are no extra fee's which might appear as a surprise when you want to adapt new functions. All is included in the license fee.


Player Properties. Easily change all settings as name, resolution etc from the CMS.

FUNCTIONALITY

   Synchronized appearance
  Serial connected screens are synchronized. This means that the content will change at the same time if playtime is set to the same duration. Without this functionality, content on each screen will change randomly and it will look very confusing for the customers.
Synchronized content will work also if one or more screens have merged content. The solution is available for all our player versions; Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS and Android.

 

   Android
  Besides supporting Linux versions for Samsung (Tizen) and LG (WebOS) we also have an Android software version. This can be installed on any Android hardware, but we recommend the players we offer due to the high performance processor.

   Software integration

  Integrating other software can be done in several ways, but most common is to set up a webservice which "subscribes" to data and wrap it in a custom made template before it is published to the screens. This can be any kind of numbers, graphics etc and of course, it will show live data.
   Easy installation
  Adding new screens on the CMS as well as installing and registering them has never been easier.
Each player can even be registered from a barcode which is generated from each screen. Simply scan the barcode during installation and you can be sure that the correct location is defined.
   Time schedules
  Time scheduling is mandatory for all digital signage solutions. The variety differs a lot though.
GoodSign CMS supports time scheuling on both single files, group of files and playlists.
   Active Directory (AD) integration
  With Single Sign-On user credentials and access is heritaged from the customers own network access. Once logged on to the company network, access to the CMS is automatically granted.
This gives an extra layer of security as well as better control of which users that have access to the software.
   Dividing screens into several zones
  Creating zones and display different content in each zone make you able to split up the screens.
It can be used for videowalls, but also on single screens.
One purpose could be to have integration with external software as for example que system, stock or exchange rates in one part, playing together with ordinary content.
   User templates
  We can create custom templates for the customers, based on their requirements.
This avoids users to upload content which is not according to the comnpany’s graphic profile, as well as makes it very easy for users without graphich skills to create stunning content
We also have default templates for addign news, weather forecast etc.
   Weather depending content
  With a smal plugin, it is possible to schedule content for different weather conditions. Sell umbrellas if it rains, or sun lotion if it is a sunny summer day.

The software will get weather data online and display content based on that. So it depends of course on accurate weather data :)
   Easy to use for both users and admins
  Everything is made so that users can administrate their digital solution inhouse. From adding and installing new screens. Changing name, orientation, size and locations of players.
We will always assist no matter what customers need help to, but from our experience most customers prefer to do tasks as this inhouse since it saves lots of time.
   Drag & Drop
  Uploading files from a desktop to the CMS has never been easier. Just drag and drop to the folders where the files should be uploaded.
Also, in the CMS, simply drag & drop the files to their playlists.



Upcoming functionality


We usually develop functionality based on our customers feedback. We have a staff of some of the most skilled programmers world wide, and they can do magic!!

Some of the upcoming functionality which is in our pipeline is:

   Sense
  Hardware which sends different smells. From our software there will be set up different categories which the content is linked to, and the smell will depend on what content is showing. Perfume for perfume stores, food for restaurants, BBQ for grocery stores and so on.

 

   Motion detection
  When motion is detected, the player will display a certain content (with or without sound). Can also be combined with sense.

 

   Face recognition (In progress)
 

Target your content individually, depending on who watches the screen. The face detection functionality has 3 major detections:

  • Emotion estimation
  • Gender estimation
  • Age estimation
