Installations and rollout

We have been in charge of several installations and rollouts, both domestic and global projects.

Especially when doing larger projects and installation, it is very important that someone with experience and knowhow is in charge.

Why should someone with experience be in charge of installations and rollouts? What could possible go wrong???

		New constructions - Are the walls even built? - Will something be installed in front on a later stage? - If installing in a restaurant, are the rails to hang the screens installed
		Electricity - Are there electric outlets nearby? - Do they provide power 24/7? Very important especially if you plan to use Windows players
		Arrival of hardware - Is all hardware delivered to the installation site? - Hardware might be stuck in customs
		Network - Are Network outlets installed close to the screens? - Is the network patched? Too many times network is not properly patched, which will delay the installation
		CMS content - Is all content uploaded and published from the CMS? If not the screens will either be black or just pop up with a "setback content" as a logo etc - Is all content compatible. Extremly large image files meant for printing, as an example will not be displayd on SoC screens due to their size
		Screen orientation - Portrait screens actually do have an up and down side as well. Very easy to mount them upside/down
		Software installation - Do the installers know how to install and configure the software
		Operating system configuration - Do the installers know how to configure the screens or players? - Set up network, time and date, startup and shutdown time etc.
